Easy to Operate - Easier to Rent
A Sno-kone machine is equipped with:
110-volt, single-phase, 60-cycle, AC-current motor with toggle switch, shaving unit, dispensing case and separate light switch inside the case
Cutterhead mounted on the end of the motor shaft inside the shaver body (gooseneck)
Pusher handle presses the ice against the revolving cutterhead to produce shaved ice
Note: The machine must be properly grounded to prevent electrical shock.
Useful Tips for Operation
Your guide to Sno-kone success.
To make the best Sno-kone:
1. Start the motor and fill the shaver body, often called the gooseneck, an inch from the top with ice cubes or 3" x 4" pieces of ice. The larger the ice pieces, the better the snow
2. Push ice down against the cutterhead with firm pressure. Too much pressure results in coarse ice; too little makes ice mushy
3. Do not force the handle
4. A surface temperature of 150-degrees F. is normal
5. To prevent damage to blades, insert only ice in the gooseneck
6. To prevent injury, keep fingers away from the shave body when motor is running
Cleaning instructions
It's a snap!
1. 1. Unplug the machine
2. 2. Wipe all surfaces clean to avoid cleaning charges
